Whether you are looking to have an evening that is casual and fun or refined and elegant, SylvanDale can be tailored for each. SylvanDale also provides a historic venue that is perfect for any community gathering including; community picnics, church gatherings, beer/wine tasting festivals and mountain bike/cycle-cross races. Whatever the event, we have a venue for you.

Up to 200 people

The barn, milkhouse and courtyard can accommodate up to 200 people. There is additional space if a separate dining tent is desired and there is ample onsite parking in the field. The barn rental includes antique tables and chairs for 100 guests and additional chairs and tables may be rented. The barn and surrounding areas are decorated with antiques and additional decorations may be added.

We have an exclusive list of vendors that may be utilized  upon booking for the following services:

  • Catering and beer & wine service
  • Tent, table and chair rental
  • Photography and florists

We ensure that our vendors are reputable, licensed and insured so that your event goes as planned. The requires that a picnic license for beer/wine service be acquired at least 45 days prior to the date of any event serving to the public. You can get that by clicking this icon

The barn is rented depending on availability

We have a policy of leaving the property in the same condition in which you found it. All garbage, additional decorations and lost/found items must be removed from the premises. If you wish to have beer and wine service, a licensed SylvanDale bartender must be used. The rate is $50.00/hour for each bartender. A bartender is required for every 100 guests or fraction thereof. Hard liquor is not allowed.

The rate for community/nonprofit organization gatherings starts at $200.00/hour with a 4 hour minimum plus tax. If you do not see time or expense options that will suit the unique needs of your event please feel free to contact us and we may be able to make accommodations depending on availability.
