Owned and operated by Matt & Kim Dale, Sylvan Dale event barn is a historic farmstead located in the Round Lake Flats east of Hayward which dates back to the late 1800’s. Constructed of ancient cedar, fir, aspen and yellow pine; the Swedish style barn’s aged and weathered exterior exhibits the character of over 100 yrs of work, storms and exposure.
Picture your ceremony on the balcony overlooking the courtyard; in the hayfield; under the Boxelders or in the barn enveloped in aged wood. The weathered wood and concrete complemented with antique furniture, fine linens and flowers provides that perfect atmosphere for your wedding day!
There is plenty of space indoors or out in our event barn for social gatherings such as company picnics, nonprofit organization gatherings, barn dances and business meetings. We are flexible and accommodating; please let us know what event or gathering you have in mind and we will let you know if SylvanDale will work for you.
SylvanDale is a perfect place for family gatherings such as reunions, anniversaries, birthdays and graduation parties. The barn and exterior spaces provide a spacious and fun place that has something for the grandparents to the kids. Whether it’s a sunset anniversary dinner or birthday party with outdoor games and activities we can provide that special place for you and your family to enjoy.
